Loaded Candy Scented Smelling Salts are a reusable, grape-scented ammonia inhalant designed for use during heavy strength training and athletic performance. Unlike traditional ammonia capsules that require water activation and are single use, Loaded Candy Smelling Salts are dry, long-lasting and ready to use immediately — providing repeated use from a single product with no preparation time.

Smelling salts work by releasing ammonia gas, which irritates the mucous membranes of the nose and lungs, triggering an involuntary inhalation reflex. This reflex stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, resulting in a rapid increase in alertness, heart rate and arousal — a response that experienced strength athletes use to help achieve a peak state of focus and intensity before a maximum effort lift.

Loaded Candy Scented Smelling Salts are most appropriate for experienced strength athletes using them before near-maximal lifts such as competition attempts in powerlifting, strongman or weightlifting.
